We're Hiring Veterinarians

EverPaw is growing, and we are looking for kind, experienced veterinarians who want to do meaningful work without the pace and stress of a clinic environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Full-Time Associate Veterinarian

32 to 40 hours per week. You choose your driving zones and your weekly schedule. 3 to 5 in-home appointments per day. No after-hours requirements. Full benefits.

Part-Time Associate Veterinarian

20 to 30 hours per week. Same flexibility on zones and days. Same supportive team. Ideal for veterinarians transitioning out of clinic practice or balancing other commitments.

EverPaw was founded on a dual commitment. The first is to families: helping their pets pass peacefully at home, surrounded by the people they love, in the place they know best. The second is to the veterinarians who provide that care.

End-of-life work is some of the most meaningful in veterinary medicine. It is also among the heaviest. Compassion fatigue is real, and most practices are not built around it. EverPaw is. Real Work-Life Balance

Choose your days and your driving zones. No after-hours, no on-call, no weekend ER shifts. The schedule is yours.

Manageable Caseload

3 to 5 appointments per day. Low visit volume by design. You will never feel rushed through someone's most difficult moment.

Medical Autonomy

You choose the drug protocols you feel are best for each patient. We have recommendations available, but the clinical decisions are yours.

Support Team Handles the Rest

Scheduling, phone triage, financial discussions, paperwork, and aftercare coordination are handled by our care team. You focus on the patient and the family.

Regular wellness programming, real CE support, and a culture that treats team members the way we treat clients: with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

EverPaw is early. You will work directly with the founders to shape how we deliver care, build referral relationships, and grow the team.

The Role

What the Day Looks Like

You arrive at a family's home. You are not in scrubs or a white coat unless you choose to be. You sit with the family before anything else. You learn about the pet, the family, what they want from the visit. You answer questions. You move at their pace.

When the family is ready, you provide the gentlest possible euthanasia. Sedation first, in a place where the pet feels safe. Time for the family to say goodbye. The final medication only when everyone is ready. After the pet has passed, you give the family time to sit with them. There is no clock.

You document the visit. You handle DEA logging in accordance with state and federal law. You coordinate with our support team for aftercare. Then you head to your next visit, or home, depending on the day you have built for yourself.

You will not be alone in this. Our care team handles scheduling, intake, financial discussions, and aftercare logistics. You will have full remote support. Your job is the visit and the family. We handle everything else.

Qualifications

What You'll Need

Not required but a plus: Fear Free certification, CAETA-certified peaceful euthanasia training, prior experience with mobile or in-home practice, hospice background.
