Our Services
Fear Free certified veterinarians offering in-home pet euthanasia, quality of life consultations, hospice guidance, and cremation aftercare across Naperville and the surrounding Chicago suburbs.
What We Offer
Every family's needs are different. We offer a focused set of services designed to give your pet a peaceful goodbye and your family the support and clarity to find peace afterward.
Our core service. A Fear Free certified veterinarian comes to your home, gently sedates your pet, and provides a peaceful goodbye in the place they love most. We work at your pace, never rushed.
Not sure if it's time? Our care team helps you assess your pet's quality of life with no pressure and no agenda. We help you see clearly so you can decide with peace.
For families who aren't ready yet, we help guide pain management, comfort care, and what to watch for. We can help you make your pet's remaining time as good as it can be.
We coordinate transport to a trusted local crematory and offer private or communal cremation options. Your pet's ashes can be returned in a simple urn or one you select. We handle the logistics so your family doesn't have to.

Why EverPaw
Fear Free certified veterinarians. Every veterinarian on our team is specifically trained to minimize fear, anxiety, and stress in animals during end-of-life care. This isn't just a credential — it changes how the visit unfolds, from how we approach your pet to the medications we use.
We come to you, on your schedule. We offer same-day appointments when families need them and book in advance when families want to plan. Our service area covers Naperville, Aurora, Joliet, Downers Grove, and 14 other Chicago suburbs.
Transparent, flat pricing. What you see on our pricing page is what you pay — including the visit, the procedure, and transport coordination for cremation. No surprise fees, no upsells.
Hundreds of families served. Our 5-star reviews speak for themselves. We've been honored to be part of hundreds of families' final moments with their pets, and that responsibility shapes everything we do.
Care that doesn't end at the door. Grief is a long road. We follow up after every visit and provide resources for families who need additional support, whether that's grief counseling references or just a kind voice on the phone.
Common Questions
We offer same-day appointments when families need them. In most cases, we can be at your home within a few hours of your call. For families who want to plan ahead, we book appointments up to two weeks in advance.
We serve 18 communities across the western and southwestern Chicago suburbs, including Naperville, Aurora, Joliet, Downers Grove, Bolingbrook, Wheaton, Lisle, Plainfield, Romeoville, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Lombard, Hinsdale, Westmont, Frankfort, Oak Brook, Glen Ellyn, and Warrenville. If you're nearby and don't see your community listed, please call us — we may still be able to help.
Most visits take 45 minutes to an hour. We never rush. Some families want extended time before the procedure to say goodbye, and that's always welcome. The procedure itself is quick — usually under 15 minutes from sedation to peaceful passing — but the visit is paced around your family's needs.
If you choose private cremation, yes — your pet's ashes are returned to your home in 1-2 weeks. With communal cremation, ashes are not returned. We walk you through the options during the visit so you can choose what feels right.
Yes, and we encourage it for many families. Other pets often sense when a companion is declining, and being present for the goodbye can help them adjust to the loss. It also avoids the confusion that happens when a pet simply disappears from the household. We'll guide you on what works best for your situation.
In-home euthanasia keeps your pet in the place they love most — no stressful car ride, no waiting room, no unfamiliar environment. Your family has privacy to grieve at your own pace, and there's no rush from the next appointment. We've written more about why families choose in-home euthanasia here.
Whether you're ready to schedule, want to talk through whether it's time, or just need to ask questions — our care team is here. No pressure, no judgment, no rush.
